Neck and Hip Joint Repair Kit.
Before: This makes a fashion Doll Lover just want to cry.
After: Now the neck joint repair is in place.
Before: Hips sometimes have severe damage. We include two types of joints. The second has a gluing disc to repair even more severe damage like new.
After: This hip joint is ready for the leg to be put back on.
Fixed: Doesn't she look much better with her head arms and legs back on. The head joint moves left and right and the arms and legs move up and down just like new!
*New* Use For Our Joint Repair Kit! (Recently emailed to us from a talented customer.) Hi, I ordered the joint repair kit and have to tell you that it worked great! I used it first to repair the hip joint on a MOD twist-n-turn Japan body that was in otherwise perfect condition. The cool thing I wanted to let you and your visitors to your site know was this trick I figured out all by myself! I recently purchased some MOD Barbie heads and needed a body....they go for big bucks on e-bay when they're in perfect condition. I found that you can take a modern Barbie body with the swivel neck joint and convert it into a body that can accomodate MOD and vintage Barbie heads! This is how you do it: 1. You need to find a straight armed modern Barbie body. Cut or pull out the swivel neck joint. 2. With a heavy grit emery board, file down the neck about a quarter of an inch and make sure it's at a tilted forward angle. The modern necks are too long so you have to do this. 3. With a plastic compound glue ( I used nail acrylic from the beauty supply store) fill in the neck hole a little bit and let dry til almost completely hard. 4. Take the replacement neck joint and follow instructions included in kit to attach to body and let dry overnight. It sounds harder than it is.....it took me only 15 minutes to do this. When it's dry....you have a modern Barbie body that you can put your vintage or MOD era Barbie heads on! It's great and it really works! Let me know what you think of this idea!
