Champagne Blond 9 KatSilk® Saran Doll Hair

Beautiful champagne blonde, a perfect match for To The Fair Poppy Parker.

This will be used, on Agnes doll. I can't wait, to use this wonderful color. It's much prettier in person.

As always, my order from Restore Doll arrived quickly and accurately. I absolutely love the KatSilk Saran Hair. It’s soft and shiny, and the color was exactly what I wanted. I bought 2 skeins of hair, which is more than enough to reroot two Winx Club dolls by Mattel. After finishing one of the reroots, her hair goes down to her feet. The color is pretty close to the picture above, too. Thank you for posting pictures of actual dolls that have been rerouted with this hair, because it helps to see the color and how it might look on the final product.

This feels EXACTLY like the hair used for Monster High dolls! While I used this for customization and was not trying to get a color match, it worked well for me. I originally used Nylon from Dollyhair.com for my customs, and I came here because I was tired of that website's slow shipping. Katsilk is VERY different from Nylon, and I was frustrated at first because of this. However, once I figured out how to use it (lay the skein straight on a hard surface and comb it out, then fill the eye of the needle halfway,) I really warmed up to it. For one thing, it's so much easier to work with. The Nylon strands would easily go astray and make a mess, but this stays together. It also feels incredibly realistic and has a luxurious softness. The only downsides are that it's much more expensive than Nylon, and I haven't tried to boil perm it, so I don't know if it would work with that.

I used this on Black Orchid Vanessa, who was a hard doll to match because of her light yellow but not platinum shade hair. This was a really nice match for a partial re-root, it blended nicely with her original hair.

I was looking for a warm blond that wasn't too yellow or too white and didn't tint towards orange or red and this is it!
