Strawberry Chatty 2 (66) KatSilk Saran Doll Hair
Strawberry II Chatty (66) Genuine KatSilk Saran Doll Hair. Close match for the vintage light color face Chatty strawberry. Blended color to achieve match. It is more economical to order the large format if you are doing a complete reroot.
With each order you receive two skeins of saran.
Three size choices:
Standard: Two 18" inch skeins and weigh .5 oz each. (Enough to reroot a Barbie Doll)
Large: Two 21" inch skeins and weigh 1 oz each.
XL Extra Large: Two 31" inch skeins and weigh 1.5 ounces each.

Katsilk Saran hair
I love the Katsilk Saran hair. I re-rooted a Horsman (15 inch diameter head)baby doll, giving her a bobbed pageboy look. I used one (66L) Strawberry Chatty 2 pkg containing two long hanks of hair and ran out! I then ordered another regular size pkg containing two shorter hanks of hair and finished her. She looks good--I got the hair very thick, but it lays so nicely, just like real hair. It doesn't hold curl very well, I experimented with curlers overnight. A boiling water perm scares me, so I haven't tried that yet. THANKS for selling a great product. Since this doll was so large and had many many holes to plug, I started with a long needle and tied the knot as suggested but that was tooo labor intensive for me. I ended up using a re-rooting tool(darning needle cut at an angle)to put the hair in, then glued inside her head very well with fabic glue (not water soluable). I think this worked best for this large project!!
