With each order you receive two skeins of saran.
Three size choices:
Standard: Two 18" inch skeins and weigh .5 oz each. (Enough to reroot a Barbie Doll)
Large: Two 21" inch skeins and weigh 1 oz each.
XL Extra Large: Two 31" inch skeins and weigh 1.5 ounces each.

This hair color is definitely vibrant and beautiful! I love when light hits it, it goes into many different shades of purple to magenta!

Used to make an Amethyst pony
Katsilk is my favorite type of hair to use. It feels like real hair, holds a curl and looks good long or short. I used Purple Passion in a custom project where I turned a My Little Pony (G4) Lily Blossom into a pony version of Amethyst from Steven Universe. This color is a bit different from what I was hoping- Amethyst has very pale lavender hair that is nearly white (depending on who's drawing her,) and this type of hair is a bit darker. For the purposes of my project it was okay, but if you're making a custom Amethyst doll and are considering this color, I would blend it with a skein of silvery gray. I also recommend ordering just a half-standard skein for rerooting a G4 pony. A standard skein is too much- I only used one bag.

Very cool angular color differences
I believe this is one of the colors used in Opal Essence, as it has a bit of a different hue depending on what angle you are looking at the hair from. From most angles it is a pretty light purple. From other angles, slightly darker and reddish.
